Council for Professional Recognition
THE CHALLENGE
The Council for Professional Recognition had two large projects to undertake: the first as the identity, development and publication of their new CDA Gold Standard training and accreditation, and the second as the marketing and promotion of their annual Early Education Leadership Conference (EELC) each Spring.
Landing Page and ”Save the Date” for the Early Education Leadership Conference
The Council for Professional Recognition holds their annual Early Education Leadership Conference (EELC) each Spring. The event draws early educators, teaching organizations and facilitators from all over the country and provides them with continued training opportunities and information on the most recent developments in Pre-K to Elementary School-aged education standards.
Cover, Interior Art direction, and Layout for the CDA Gold Standard Visual Identity Materials
The CDA Gold Standard is a credential system developed by the Council for Professional Recognition to help early childhood education facilities become accredited in providing a higher standard of instruction for their educators, as well as establish guidelines to ensure they can maintain that same high level of quality education.
Working with their newly created Gold Standard Seal, I art directed and designed a sub-brand identity and a range of reference materials and print and website collateral for the campaign and program implementation.
Materials and assets included an introductory brochure, instructional handbook, website landing page, infographics, social media marketing ads and banners, signage, email signature and stationery set.
CDA Gold Standard Visual Identity Toolkit
Typography was selected for clean, clear communication imparting warmth and discipline, while reinforcing the Gold Standard palette of deep blue, warm charcoal grey, and golden ochre. Subtle grid texture was used to impart structure and learning.
Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credentialing
The Council for Professsional Recognition needed a new web portal designed as a resource for early educators to gain materials, and instruction, and accreditation for their Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credentialing.
I art directed and designed the YourCouncil web portal landing page, library catalogue, and social cards which was handed off to developers for implementation. YourCouncil enabled members of the Council for Professional Recognition to apply and obtain membership, documentation and reference materials for the various levels of accreditation.
Web Portal Design: CDA Training Materials Bookstore
Pages included design of reference and training materials library online store, multiple form and application pages, a chat portal welcome and sign-in page, and website digital ads to promote the new portal.
